Why we like it
Nero d'Avola is one of the most famous red wines of Sicily. It is the king of black grape varieties, thanks the elegance, sumptuousness, and character. Grown on the sunny hills of Salaparuta at 250 meters above sea level, in the typical medium-textured soil tending to clay, the grapes collected in boxes in the first ten days of September express their full potential and distinctive notes.
It goes well with pasta alla norma, squid ink risotto, roasted red meat and game.
